Hi there, I understand that new 4-year FIG regime is eligible to anyone who has not been a UK tax resident for a single unbroken period of ten years up to 5 Apr 2025. I had not been a UK resident since 2012 when I moved and worked in the US. But in the tax year 2021/22 to 22/23, I paid tax as a non-dom remittance basis. I plan to come back and settle in the UK from the tax year 2025/26. Will I be eligible to use 4-year FIG regime. I understand that I can bring money I saved abroad to the UK during the 4-year period. Am I correct or not? Thanks...
