Hello, I have recently started a new job trust, on completing my tax questionnaire form I accidently ticked the wrong box saying that I have student loan. I only realized this after my first payslip came through. I don't have a student loan and I contacted my agency to inform them about this issue. First they said I had to contact SLC england to sort this issue out. I have tried, but I can't get in touch with them unless I know my account details and customer reference number, without this I could not get through an advisor. Of course as I don't have a student loan I also don't have an account with SLC or any other details. I got in contact with my agency again and they asked me to contact HMRC directly and send to my agency a STOP notice on the student loan that doesn't exist. Only by doing this they can stop charging me and refund me with the amount charged. Can you assist with this matter please? As I am being charged for a student loan that I never had. Kind regards, Iuri Mata

Hi Luri
You would need to contact HMRC to be put through to the Student Loan section to review. Contact HMRC
