IHS for newborn

Hi, I am a BNO Visa holder and gave birth to a baby in July2024 in the UK. We are in the progress of applying a passport for the newborn but the 3-month free NHS will be expired soon. Would you please advise whether we could pay for the IHS prior to applying for BNO Visa for the newborn? Thanks!
