I have lived in New Zealand for a long time, and used to have regular statements about my UK pension. However somewhere, they have lost my address change, and I cannot verify my identity as the change of address history does not match. I suspect this is because of a spelling error in the system. I have made numerous attempts to contact the relevant departments, and sent all my full id details via post. No response. Now I don't know how I can "apply" for my UK pension. This is going to cause problems, as in order to get my NZ Pension, I also must have the UK Pension portion. I can see from posts in this forum that ID verification is a real problem, especially for people living overseas. I have a UK passport and loads of documentation !! Please help !! Many thanks, Rachel Duncan in NZ where it's tipping with rain today....
