Hello, We are an overseas company and have no UK bank account and no UK address. We should have VAT repayment from HMRC for the quarter Aug 2023 to Oct 2023 of about £39K. We follow the guideline from HMRC and already filled in a form online for our overseas bank account detail in HMRC portal TODAY. The overseas bank account will be effective 3 days later. However, there is no way in HMRC portal to request a repayment. Also, this repayment is related to Aug 2023. Will HMRC arrange the repayment automatically or what else we have to do to inform HMRC. How can we trace this repayment status? As noted from other threads, it is very difficult to contact HMRC hotline by phone. Will HMRC accept other ways for communication? Many Thanks!

Please contact our VAT team so we can check your repayment. We may need to manually request the repayment to your overseas bank account.
