VAT Re-Registration

Dear Community Members! I am inquiring about the process of VAT Re-Registration for my UK Private Limited company. Last year, I voluntarily de-registered my business for VAT as the sales were below £85,000. Now, I am exploring the possibility of re-registering. Could you please clarify whether it is possible to reactivate my old VAT number, or do I need to apply for a new VAT number? If reactivation is not possible, could you also provide information on the process of VAT Re-Registration? Thank You

Hi.You would not be able to reinstate your old number unfortunately and you would need to register for VAT again.
