Good morning, in the private healthcare setting, is VAT chargeable on any of the following: Medical and health assessments and checkups Laboratory services such as blood tests Medications and medication administration, such as vitamin injections and drips Services will be provided by medical professionals registered in their field and to provide these specific services / treatments Thanks in advance

Hi Peter,
If medical services are provided by a registered health professional and the primary purpose of the services is the protection, maintenance or restoration of the health of the person concerned then the service should be exempt from VAT.
