I am a Amazon seller from China. At present I am still working on applying for my VAT registration, If I apply for a EORI which is not link to a VAT number, May I use this EORI to import products to UK under my company name?

An EORI number is just a registration number for importers or exporters . There is no requirement for a VAT registration to get one , however as an overseas person then you may not be eligible for an EORI. If you do get a EORI you can use it for import, but VAT and duty will need to be paid at import.

Hi William Wu,
If you have not yet received your VAT number then you can apply for a non VAT registered EORI number in the meantime so that you can import goods in to the UK prior to receiving your VAT number.
