When I tried to "Add existing VAT" to my Government Gateway ID. I received the message below. You cannot use this service Your business is set up for VAT with another Government Gateway user ID. Try signing in again using a different user ID. I don't have any other gateway user ID.

If you call the VAT Helpline on 0300 200 3700 they can invistigate this for you.
