Overseas Sellers of Goods that are selling B2C in the UK and are importing and holding stock in a fulfilment house in the UK from which domestic sales are made, are having to register for VAT at Aberdeen VAT Office. However, the EORI number is registered to the overseas address rather than the Aberdeen VAT Office. Also online market place (TikTok) are asking for billing addresses to be the same as a VAT registered address (and I cannot think for one minute that Aberdeen VAT Office will be wanting to be receiving all the billing correspondence), so how are sellers supposed to get around these issues (other than by creating a UK Establishment for VAT purposes).

Hi Majemo,
If you are a Non Established Business then the address HMRC will hold is the Ruby House address in Aberdeen.
However, I would recommend contacting the marketplace/platform regarding the billing address as this is not something HMRC could get involved in.
Thank you.
