Hello. My business is in the UK and i'm registered for UK VAT. A company in Spain will ship products (from 10£ to 600£) to my customers in UK and EU. For UK customers I charge 20% UK VAT. But what should i do for EU customers? There is a bit of everything on the web and I cannot find an answer for that specific case. I would guess that I need to register for VAT in an EU country and use the OSS but I want to be 100% sure. Thank you for your help.

Hi.

If these particular goods are moving within the EU it will be Outside The Scope Of UK VAT.

However there would be a requirement to register for VAT in the EU if you are supplying goods there.

If you are supplying the goods from Spain to consumers in other member states then OSS could be an option .

I would recommend speaking to the Spanish authorities   .

Thank you .
