My VAT was cancelled on 26 January 2022. I have a repayment on period Oct to Dec 2021, which amount is 3126.52. May I claim a tax refund of this money? I want to add my bank account in to the business tax account, but it alway shows that 'Sorry, we’re experiencing technical difficulties', I do not why

Hi,

If you deregistered from VAT in 2022 and you have a VAT claim for December 2021 then this would be a valid claim as it was during the time when you were VAT registered. However, if you are a limited company which has been dissolved with Companies House then we can not make a repayment as the entity no longer exists.

If you have not already put this claim in then you should be able to do so via your Business Tax Account.

There is a paper option for providing your bank details.

Thank you.
