VAT payments on ebay

There’s VAT amounts stated on the invoices provided by seller for purchases via eBay. And I used eBay coupons for the total payments made. Should I deduct the coupon portion at the Input VAT amount when I am preparing the VAT return to HMRC?

If you have a VAT invoice showing the full sales price, then you would use the invoice and figures as evidence to reclaim the total VAT charged.
