Request credit after deregistration

Hello, I am writing to inquire about the possibility of requesting a credit after a company deregistration for VAT purposes. Could you please provide information on whether it is feasible to request a credit post-deregistration? Thank you

If the company has deregistered with a credit available on file then we can look into releasing this credit.

However if the company has been dissolved then we will not be able to release any credit as this money will become a Crown asset.
