Anyone else having issues with their VAT Repayments? Submitted my return for my business 6th Nov and payment tracker advises that the payment date has passed, Called the team and they said there is no information required by the team for supporting evidence. Phoned today and they advised they would escalate this one. Still no update provided. Unsure why the delay, business has been established for 2 years, Just had a capital injection from a shareholder which spiked the return of £23,000. Very annoying that as a customer we would get fined for not paying them on time.

Hi.

If we receive a repayment return then suitable checks will have to be made prior to the authorisation of the repayment.

If you have already called the Helpline on 03002003700 then a referral would have been made to the Compliance Team dealing

with your request and they will be in touch with you if necessary.
