VAT primary place of business

Hello, Last week I voluntarily registered for VAT. I was asked for my principal place of business, which is my home address. Is this address publicly available? For example, when you enter a VAT number on the “Check a UK VAT number” service?

If you provide your home address as the Principal Plae of Business then your home address will be available on the VAT Checker service.
