Hi, apologies if this or similar has been asked before. We are providing services in the UK for a client (that is based in Australia). The invoice was sent to them including VAT however they are questioning whether it should be charged or not. I think it should as the services were supplied here in the UK but I am not 100% sure. I am quite new to all this so any advice would be gratefully accepted!

Hi.

It does depend on the nature of the services being provided.

If the services you provide come under the General Rule services then your supply would be Outside The Scope of VAT.
