I have received a VAT repayment cheque from HMRC and the cheque is expired. I have tried contacting HMRC by telephone but cannot get through, I have put the bank details onto the HMRC portal. I do not know the address to send the cheque back to ask for new cheque and or request a bank transfer as I cannot get hold of them on the phone. Thanks

However you should try contacting our VAT team again so that we can cancel the expired cheque, credit your account and then release the funds to your bank.
