Correction of Register

Hi, My client (a company) was registered in error as a sole prop using the name of the director signatory. I informed HMRC of this over 6 months ago but the Register still not corrected. If I give VRN can you follow up, please? Thanks.

Thank you. Have tried on a number of occasions since, but no reply, no matter how long I wait. Is there an email address I can send my query to?

HMRC have a habit of regularly killing off email addresses, but give this one a try - vatchangeofcircs@hmrc.gov.uk. but no guarantee that it is active or being read by anyone, but worth a try.

If you call our Helpline on 03002003700 then we can send over an internal memo to the Varaiations Team to request this change.

Many thanks, both. I spoke to the NAS and the query seems one for the "CoLE Team". V. helpful Officer will email them to chase the change. He confirmed my notification received and so we'll just keep filing returns and the change will be made in due course.
