Dear Sir/Madam A month ago, I have two Northern Ireland companies need to register UK vat, one day it works fine, the next day when I register the other one it shows the message ‘Sorry this service isunavailable,Sorry the system is unavailable. Please try again later or contact the HMRevenue & Customs Online Service Helpdesk’ and this has been going on for a month, I contacted the registry by email and asked what I need to do to solve this problem. I have contacted the registry by email and the customer service online, but nothing has been resolved, what should I do?

Dear Sir/Madam What should I do about this, please? I am in a hurry to register my UK vat or my amazon shop will be banned from selling. Hope to hear from you soon

I've not encountered any issues with the online registration in the last few weeks, I am based in England though. Have you tried using a different browser (Chrome/Edge) or clearing your cookies as that generally fixes this issue, I don't beleve it would be an entire outage across the whole of Northern Ireland and more likely a localised issue, meaning your computer/software. As a test, try and access the online registration via your smartphone, if it works on the phone then it proves the website work and must be your computer, if it doesn't work on your phone, then try turning off your phone wifi and try and access the website using your phone data (rather than wifi) and if you can access the online registration then maybe there is a block on your internet/broadband (maybe an aggressive spam/web anti virus)? Other than that, you're stuck with just calling the online IT helpdesk and maybe they can take you through some tests. Oh, and always worth noting that at the bottom of the page that shows the error "Sorry the system...." at the very bottom should be a link "Page not working? Click here", so click on that and you can send a report to the IT desk and these queries are usually dealt with much better than through the helpline.

Dear Jay Cooke Thank you very much for your reply and suggestions, in order to test I used three different models of equipment were registered, are unable to register the prompts are the same, still can not be submitted online, but the Chinese company is still able to submit online normally. Regarding the tip at the bottom of the failed registration page, I also applied for and it feedback, the answer is still that the problem does not belong to their jurisdiction, and can not be dealt with. Also you said you have been able to submit your registration normally for the past few weeks, can you provide me with the website where you submitted your registration online? I'd like to check if it's because of a problem with the URL I'm accessing. Looking forward to your reply. Grace LL Yours sincerely

I am sorry that this is preventing you from registering for VAT.
Can you please report this issue via the ' get help with this page link' so that the digital team can look in to this for you.
You cannot access the service from this page.
