VAT Reclaim

I work for a vehicle dealership. A customer has requested a copy of the invoice for a vehicle that is addressed to the finance company and not to their company. Am I able to supply this to the end user of the vehicle. My customer wants this to reclaim VAT.

If your customer is the finance company and the VAT invoice is made out to the finance company then only the finance company would have an entitlement to reclaim the VAT as input tax . If the customer requires a VAT invoice for the purchase then they should be contacting the finance company.
