Invalid VAT number

I have been registered with effect from 01 August 2023 but whenever I check my VAT number on the VAT checker, it says my VAT number is invalid. I am an Amazon seller and whenever I put the VAT number that HMRC has given me, Amazon rejects it saying its invalid.

There is a known issue with certain VAT numbers not being valid on the online VAT checker.

Please contact our VAT team so we can refer your details over to the deptartment which is looking in to this.
