  • Understanding my pension forecast

Hi, I am a 44 year old man working in England. I have just checked my pension forecast and it says that my forecast is £221.20 per week "Forecast if you contribute another 3 years before 5 April 2048". On my record I have 26 full years and 2 partial years. My understanding is that you have to work/contribution for 35 years plus to get full pension, so why does mine say only 3 more years? 47 seems "young" to be at full pension. I'm assuming that my NI contributions will not reduce why I reach the full amount? Cheers Adam
