  • RE: Striking off a dormant company

Hello. I have a similar case of striking off a dormant company and I require clarification. I incorporated a private company in December 2020 and because I haven't been trading, I confirm that the company is dormant every year. Now, I applied for a strike off last week. However, I haven't filed a company annual account for 2023 (deadline was September) and I filed for a dormant account today. 1. Do I need to inform HMRC, via post, that I have applied for a strike off? 2. Do I still need to file my company annual account even after I have filed for a dormant account? 3. If yes to (2), will filing my annual account now affect my strike off application? Thank you.
