Canadian RRSP Dividends and Capital Gains
I am a Canadian on a Youth Mobility Scheme visa. I am putting everything together for a self-assessment and am wondering if I need to report dividends and capital gains from my Canadian Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP)? I know I need to report them from my Canadian Tax-Free Savings Account (TFSA) as this is not recognized as a tax free account in the UK but I cannot find any answers regarding dividends and capital gains from the RRSP. I have not taken any withdrawals from my RRSP, I only received dividends and sold some shares for capital gains. -
Reporting Canadian Income and Bank Intereest
I am a Canadian on a Youth Mobility Visa. I am trying to figure out what I need to claim on my self assessment since I have dividends and capital gains on my Canadian TFSA, RRSP and non-registered/taxable investment account, as well as interest income from my Canadian bank account. I am also trying to figure out how to avoid double taxation since some of these will also be taxed in Canada.
