Untaxed interest figure in tax calculation
Before I submitted my self assessment return I received a message from HMRC on 15 August 2024 with my tax calculation for the year 6 April 2023 to 5 April 2024. This contains figures for untaxed interest and charitable donations that I do not recognise - they differ from my own records. There is no information in the message to indicate where the figures came from. How can I verify the figures used by HMRC?
