  • Benefit in Kind Tax Query

My employer has payrolled a medical benefit for this tax year, rather than issued a P11D. This is for the value of £50.96 per month. I have noticed on my payslip that this £50.96 is added to my top line and included in my taxable gross value. My income tax is calculated on this higher value, then the £50.96 is dedcuted in full to give me my net payment (NI and pension also deducted to provide net). Is this correct?
