Solvent, dormant ltd, satisfies all criteria for strike-off - how to inform HMRC outside of UK?
Good day, I have (had) a limited company as a non-UK resident director which I now wish to strike off, it is solvent, no name changes, no active transactions, no employees, no creditors, no liabilities, no other directors, or owners, or persons of significant power, and I have filed the DS01 to Companies House. When I went to HMRC online to file the final accounts it told me: "Our records show that you're not authorised to use this service. If you're not registered for Corporation Tax" Which is deliberately true, as this is a non-actively trading company, I've also directly notified HMRC that it is dormant (thus exempting it from corporation tax and returns filings). My question is - with all dissolvence criteria satisfied, is there anything else I need to do towards HMRC to officially close down the company? (I am a non-UK resident, and I reside outside of the UK, if any written notifications need to be made, can I do that electronically) Appreciate your help!
