Switching between “Arising Basis” and “Remittance Basis”
I arrived at the UK in mid 2022 and have become a tax resident in the Fiscal Year of 2022-2023. My questions is: If I have chosen “Arising Basis” in the Fiscal Year of 2022-2023, can I switch to “Remittance Basis” in the Fiscal Years of 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 for the foreign income and capital gains I earned in these 2 fiscal years ?
