  • Help with a CPC?

    Hi,
We have an EU registered car arriving into Liverpool in a container (was originally shipped from Cyprus) but are struggling to find the correct CPC to use. We have been told that the old Chief code for it was 00 00 020 with C21.
Can anyone help with the code? Do the codes that relate to it being 'driven off a RoRo' also apply to Container shipments from the EU?
    Thank you
    Kim

  • RE: Importing Personal effects using 1PF apc

Hi Thanks for the link and I have followed the information given in the guidance and it still doesn't work. I have a container made up of ToR shipments with any gaps filled with gifts from 'back home'. The ToR declarations are fine and go through but the gifts declarations using 1PF never work. There are multiple items all to difference recipients, both the individual and the total of the gifts is usually under £300. Please advise if each gift needs a separate declaration? Currently the exporter are a business that organises the shipping, the Importer and declarant are a freight forwarder. If anyone has experience of 1PF, I would be interesting to hear the different DE's that need to be filled in as I am clearly missing something. Thank you
  • Importing Personal effects using 1PF apc

Hi. I have a query regarding the additional statements and codes needed to effectively use APC 1PF (personal goos under £630). The goods come under various HS codes including one at 12% duty which ultimately I would like to bring in under the flat 2.5% duty which is allowed under 1PF. If anyone can offer advice as to what goes in Data Elements 2/2 and 2/3 to support the code I would be grateful. I have read through all the guidelines offered by HMRC by just can't get it to work. Thanks in advance. Kim
