Hello there, My husband and I are separated and he left our matrimonial home on the 18 December 2021. It has been less than 3 years and we have now started the process of the formal divorce. With the new rule for capital gains tax (after 6/4/23), does my divorce need to be completed before 3 years since he left our home to avoid paying capital gains tax?
