Transferring money from abroad to UK account
Hi, I am working in UK since 2019. I have sent money earned in the UK to India and deposited in an NRE account. I am thinking of buying a house here. I need to transact about £20k-£25k from my Indian NRE account to my UK bank account. Do I need to declare it? Or I can just do online transfer as I did when I sent money from here before and nothing else to be done from my side. I have reached out to HMRC and Excise and Custom department, nobody knows the answer. Please guide. Thanks, Safal
