RE: QROPS 5 Year Tax Rule
Hi, I understand the five-year tax rule. If in year six I want to transfer £500k to a Canadian Registered Retirement Savings plan (RRSP), would there be any UK tax implications? Thanks Tammy -
QROPS withdrawals - Canada
If I transferred my pension to Canada more than 5 years ago and I'm over 65 years old, Can I make withdrawals now? Or do I have to wait 10 Years from the time of transferring the pension? Also, where can I find out more information on how to report my withdrawals from my QROPS to HMRC, as I understand I have to do that for 10 years once I start making withdrawals. -
RE: QROPS 5 Year Tax Rule
Hi, I have moved my pensions into a QROPS in Canada about 3 years ago. Do I still need to wait 5 years before accessing the pension even if I turn 65 within the 5 years?
