Tax refund from expenses
I phoned HMRC but I'm more confused now than I was before. I put a claim in for uniform, for the past 4 years. I have a letter with my new tax code going forward (great, increased tax free amount of £143) and a cheque for £110.38 for the tax year 2023-2024 (great). Does this cheque cover my claim of the past 4 years? Or just 2023-2024?
