I have moved to the UAE at the end of March as a retiree. I am currently staying in a serviced apartment while I look for a flat to buy. I have a golden resident visa as a retiree. I wish to be considered non-resident for UK tax for the tax year 25-26 and onwards. Will an address in a serviced apartment for the next six months while I find a permanent address be sufficient to confirm that element of my non-resident declaration, alongside other statutory residence tests?
