NHS Pension Scheme - how to approximate the pension input amount (growth) over this tax year?
I am a medical doctor and this year I have rejoined the NHS pension scheme after a 3 year break. I have benefits in both 2008 and 2015 NHSPS sections. I approximate that my total employee + employer contributions into this scheme (2015 section) will be around £15,000 this tax year. I also have a SIPP and want to fully utilise my £60,000 yearly allowance, but to avoid overpaying above £60,000 as if I don't I will get a 40% tax on the overpaid amount. Is it possible to predict/calculate the Pension input amount (growth) in my NHS Pension Scheme as I understand this growth will not be equal to £15,000 and will be higher than that?
