How to find old NI contribution record (25yrs ago, no idea about NI number back then)
As a student I did a 6 month internship at a company in the UK (1999). Thinking back, the employer probably paid NI contributions but I have no records. I also do not know which NI number I had back then. Is there a way to find out? I recently came back to the UK and received a new NI number, so I will not be able to find anything on the NI record through the HMRC website function.
