  • Director of overseas company

I am a tax resident of the UK and Hong Kong. If I am appointed by a Hong Kong company (a company which only has presence in Hong Kong and can only afford to have their audit done in Hong Kong) as their only one director (and work on work-from-home basis), do I have to file corporation tax of that company? If so, 1) can I apply for double tax avoidance to HMRC; 2) will HMRC accept audit report of Hong Kong auditors in this case? Thanks.
