  • Flexible ISA large withdrawal

Say I have £50,000 in my flexible ISA from previous years. I want to withdraw all of that now, and put it back in plus the £20,000 allowance by the end of this tax year (a £70,000 deposit). Would that be allowed under the flexible ISA rules? The worked examples here don't include large withdrawals like this: https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/media/5a958128e5274a5b849d3b74/worked_examples_of_flexible_ISAs.pdf Neither do the withdrawal guidelines: https://www.gov.uk/individual-savings-accounts/withdrawing-your-money The ISA management guidelines make mention of being able to withdraw "previous year funds" but it's not clear whether this means you can only withdraw money that was deposited in the previous year, or if you can withdraw money from all past years: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/manage-isa-subscriptions-for-your-investors#subscription-limits
