  • BOR286 form questions.

Hi, I have a few questions regarding the BOR286 form. I have recently moved back to the UK from overseas and have applied for TOR relief and been issued a URN. The first problem I have is when I originally sent my belongings to the UK from overseas I had not yet applied for TOR relief so I had to pay tax on my belongings. I have since received my belongings and paid the custom fees. I would like to reclaim my fees given that I now have TOR relief. The second problem is that I sent the parcels to my someone else in the UK before i moved. I am now living at the same address where they were sent and I paid for all of the customs fees and tax. On the BOR286 form it asks for the name of the recipient of the parcel. Will it be a problem if I write my name down for the recipient. The way bill and parcel does not show my name as the recipient. It only shows me as the sender. Would I be better putting my name down as the recipient on the form and explaining the circumstances or putting the other persons name down and explaining. The TOR relief is in my name.
