Split Year Treatment
Good afternoon, I returned permanently to UK June 2023 after 27years of living abroad with my husband who worked there. We are applying for split year treatment Case 6 for my husband & Case 7 for myself. When filling out self assessment, Residence remittance basis etc page, I am confused with Box 7, does this apply to overseas portion of the year? do I put an X in Box 7 or as now UK resident leave blank? Thank you
