Hi, friend is starting up an AirBnB via renting rooms in his house that he lives in, he's VAT registered as a sole-trader. I think this has to charge VAT on his AirBnB sales as it's short term holiday let, therefore a trade, but how does this work if he falles under the £7500 rent a room threshold?
