  • RE: Inheritance tax on inheritance from abroad

Hi, I can see all the posts clearly stating that no inheritance tax is due on non-UK assets (other than CGT on sold or income from assets) but its not explicitly saying whether that inheritance has been remitted to the UK or not. Am I correct that even foreign inherited amounts (cash) remitted to the UK (I am Australian citizen, UK resident) no UK inheritance tax will be due. And if that is correct - no other form of tax on that amount would be due - even if remitted to the UK? Many thanks, Claudia
