Hi, I am a UK citizen married to a US citizen. Both of us are retired and receiving US/UK state pensions. We are trying to determine whether I would be eligible to receive US retirement/survivors' benefit on my husband's death or whether the 'Totalization Agreement' between the US and UK would mean that I would be ineligible because I am already receiving UK pension (or whether my UK pension would be reduced if I applied for a US survivor's benefits).

A family property in France was 'gifted' to me by my parents over 20 years ago. I would now like to 'gift' the property to my children and understand I would need evidence of its value when it became mine (as well as its recent value) to show if it has gained in value. But no valuation was ever done. How can I provide evidence of its value from over 20 years ago?
