  • Double Taxation and Letter of Residence

Hi, I am completing the DT-Individual IRL form and it requires a stamp by the inspector of Taxes to confirm Irish Residency for Tax purposes. On the ROS website I can get a letter of Tax Residency which I can download, which says "The purpose of this Letter of Tax Residence document is to confirm an individual's tax residency to a Foreign Tax Authority with which Ireland has a Double Taxation Agreement. The document cannot be used for any other purposes." Would this be adequate to include with the DT-Individual IRL form and I can then send direct to PAYE Self Assessment unit. Rather than via Irish inspector of taxes, which could take a lot longer?
