Marriage allowance -not entitled but still used
Hi HMRC admin team, I tried to submit my SA online and while reviewing the tax calculation, I found the marriage allowance was transfered to my husband. He is higher rate tax payer so not eligible for this that’s why I assume this should not be deducted. How can I revert this before submission? I’ve applied online to cancel this allowance but it showed it can only be reflected and adjusted on April 6, 2025, which I found it is unfair.
