RE: VAT re-payment
Thank you for your reply. We have contacted HMRC on the number above and was advised that there is nothing we can do at the moment about your re-payment as it was sent to authorisation. There is no option for the call to be transferred to compliance team , as there was no requests from compliance officer as a such at present time. 60 days awaiting already with no updates or further requests which is frustrating. -
VAT re-payment
Hello, We have submitted VAT returns for period 01/04/2023-31/05/2023 and 01/06/2023-30/06/2023, there are repayments due from HMRC. Today is 07/09/2023 and we haven't received neither re-payment on account, update or request for information(compliance) , etc. The only letter was received 11 of August 2023 saying we have 1 penalty point for being late 1 day on our latest submission. Tried calling help line 20 min on the line no contact, just good bye. Tried calling on number shown on penalty point letter, HMRC representative was unable to give an update or connect to compliance team because she can't see any requests from compliance or other departments. It's already 60 days since 01/04/2023-31/05/2023 return has been submitted. Please advise.
