CGT or IHT on death of spouse (foreign nationals who own property in UK)?
My wife and I are USA citizens and residents who jointly purchased a holiday home in the UK in 1997. Sadly, my wife died in 2024. Do I need to notify any UK tax authority? Does her death trigger any capital gains or inheritance tax now?
