I pay a monthly rent on the room I rent for my business. this year i have received three months late and have paid in Apirl. Under cash basis does this go under 23/24 or 24/25

Hi Under cash basis accounting can I claim for a new tablet i have bought for business purposes. If yes how? If no - do I have to revert to traditional accounting and claim under capital allowance?
