  • Ebay selling, trying to understand

I feel like I'm getting conflicted info about this from other forums. It's all quite confusing. When you sell personal items, such as fragrances you've kept for ages but ended up not using, and you sell for well under what you paid for, (multiple items sold separately for say, £80, some new, most not) but still go a lot over the £1,000 a year limit, is this something that needs declaring? Some say no as they're personal items. I am not a business. I've been having some anxiety over this because I GENUINELY didn't realise, if this is indeed the case. And how do I prove they're personal? I don't have receipts (always threw them away) I never sold above what each were worth I'd like to add that I did sell a lot, because I'm now getting help for a hoarding/impulsive spending habit, due to recently diagnosed ADHD.
